Laguuni x MobilePay

The watersports center Laguuni revamped its online shop’s purchase path at the beginning of May 2025 by implementing MobilePay’s payment integration solution.

Previously, customers had to manually enter their information and select their preferred payment method through multiple clicks, making the booking process slow and complicated. 

Laguuni relies on the Johku ecosystem for its sales. The MobilePay integration was implemented in Johku at the end of 2024 and launched for Johku merchants in January 2025. As a result, Johku merchants have been able to offer customers a truly fast and easy purchasing process – whether booking a sauna slot or renting a canoe.

Among Johku merchants' customers, paying with mobile phone is particularly popular. An impressive 70% of customers pay using their phone – with the same trend applying to Laguuni’s customers. That’s why the implementation of a mobile-optimized purchase path, which does not require entering information manually, has been especially well received. When paying with MobilePay, the user shares their details directly from their MobilePay profile during payment, so there’s no need to manually fill in any information.
