Why can’t I find my country?

We know – and love! – that people outside the Nordics want to use Vipps and MobilePay for very, very easy payments.

 

As a payment institute, we’re required by law to being able to identify all our users. Unfortunately, we’re not able to do this if you don’t have the necessary Norwegian, Danish, or Finnish credentials.

 

We currently offer Vipps in Norway – go to your local app store to get the app. If you are Danish or Finnish citizen you should look for MobilePay in your local app store.

To register, you need...

To register for Vipps in 🇳🇴 Norway, you need:

  • a Norwegian national identity number
  • a Norwegian phone number
  • a Norwegian bank account
  • a bank card issued by a Norwegian bank

To register for MobilePay in 🇩🇰 Denmark, you need:

  • a Danish CPR number
  • a Danish phone number
  • a Danish bank account
  • a bank card issued by a Danish bank

To register for MobilePay in 🇫🇮 Finland, you need:

  • a Finnish national identity number
  • a Finnish phone number
  • a Finnish bank account
  • a bank card issued by a Finnish bank
