Employees use the same work account they use across their day, rather than a personal eID for routine portal access. It also gives colleagues without Nordic eID a practical way to access the portal.

Using one work login can reduce the need for separate portal passwords, helping limit password reuse and password-related phishing. SSO supports Microsoft Entra ID OIDC and Okta Workforce Identity OIDC, with MFA and account lockout protection.
